Liminal worlds in an honest line.

An artist and animator based in Fairfield, Iowa. His path began at his grandmother’s desk—professional illustrator Ruth Morehead—where early drawings were taped to the wall and confidence took root. As a child, drawing brought him into absorbing flow states; later, discovering animation revealed a vessel large enough to hold many interests at once—filmmaking, music, drawing, acting, directing—and led to an MFA in Comics.

Paul’s practice spans drawing, illustration, digital art, and animation. He designs long-horizon series as scaffolding for intentionality: complex projects with many moving parts that allow disciplined bursts of work at a steady rhythm. For Paul, art is a doorway into consciousness—a way to access subtler perception and articulate archetypal forms with clarity and care. He aims for a timeless look: not chasing trends or reenacting the old masters, but seeing as honestly as possible. Current work includes The Dream Arc Animal series.
