Southeast Iowa Art & Book Fair

The Southeast Iowa Art & Book Fair is a free, one-day celebration of creativity, storytelling, and community—held in the heart of Fairfield, Iowa. Hosted by MAKETRICKS COLLECTIVE ARTS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Fairfield, in collaboration with the Heartland Poet Society, this juried event highlights the diverse artistic and literary voices of Southeast Iowa.
This family-friendly event is free to all ages and offers attendees the chance to explore unique work from visual artists, self-published authors, poets, illustrators, crafters, and multidisciplinary creators. Guests can engage directly with local creatives and experience the richness of regional talent in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Live readings and spoken word performances
Artist and author meet-and-greets
Family-friendly workshops and activities
Local food provided by Singleton’s Café
